It was the last time Swee Chiow will be wearing the red suit and I believe he won't be wearing the skates for quite some time after today. We met up with the students from Shuqun Primary School and the staff of Skateline as they escorted Swee Chiow through the last kilometre till the finish line. Brocade and Shangri-La had set up a grand finish line at the main entrance of Shangri-La hotel and for me; it was a big relief knowing that the journey was completed. Reporters and the key appointment holders were all there to welcome Swee Chiow during that victorious moment.

"How has this expedition changed your mindset in life?" that was a question posed to Swee Chiow during the Q&A session by Mr. Deb Dutta, Vice President, Asia Pacific/Japan. I tried to reflect back on the question as well, hoping to reach deep within my mind and heart and find an answer for myself. The whole experience has shown me parts of the world that should be further explored, the spirit of adventure and the power of the mind. On top of that, being with a man who reached the summit of Everest, it expands my possibilities of being on top of the world and other ventures into untouched corners of the world. I've learned there is much more to be explored and experienced and we all have the ability to dream and make it reality. It's a matter of how much we're willing to expand our mind and work hard to make our dreams come true. The expedition has been an experience that opened my eyes and expanded my mind to the possibilities within my life. It has shown me the ups and downs in life and how we all have to move on with life whether we like it or not. The world is there for us to explore and we decide whether to pack our bag and seek an adventure that may change our lives. So, what is your next adventure?
